MBB Game 31: NC State @ LJVM - 9 pm Wednesday - Bally Sports

What would Buddy B have to score to take the scoring title away from Alondes? I assume he's still #2.

So much respect for Mucius. His improvement and understanding of his role on this team has been a huge positive. He’ll be remembered as a special Demon Deacon for his contributions toward turning this thing around. Impressed that he not only stuck it out, but worked his ass off to be a leader and very important piece on a program-changing team.

All of this. He’s the Kendall Hinton of the basketball team for me.

Sy had such a serviceable game for us, all on a bum leg. I was not a fan of seeing him on the court, especially early. But his 6-8-1 were crucial in our second half streak, getting the DRebs we weren't collecting in the 1st.

Love the role players on this team... The pieces fit together really well.

So much frustration in the first halves of most games, if we start sticking 40 mins together over the next month it's going to be special.

Buddy needs 30 to pass Wililams based on Basketball Reference. Somehow the ACC site has Buddy with 31 games already.

we're going to win the fucking ACCT and get a 5 seed. GTFO with fearing PITT.

Forbes on Alondes on what he means to him personally "when we look back at this years from now, he's going to be the guy who changed the whole thing"

I was at the game tonight. I’m a season ticket holder. Carter Whitt never took off his warm ups. He has decent handles, but no shot whatsoever . He will play somewhere else next year.

Alondes said he felt like Lebron James when the students chanted "MVP!"

Man, I hope every kid who enters the transfer portal watches this press conference with ManMan, Daivien, Mucius, Walton, and Sy. These guys didn't even know each other 12 months and now they're a true team led by Forbes.

So much fun shit to talk about after that game and mofos still hung up on Carter Whitt.

Let it go.

Just got home, great reasonable crowd, they got us fired up and the crowd stayed with them. So happy for DW and Zay. It really means a lot to them. Smith is a chucker for State and we Really controlled Seabron. Nice to have this beat down with Jake a spectator. They have no guard depth. Soft, my ass. This team is versatile.

You know any kid entering the transfer portal who we are interested in will receive a link to this press conference.

What Forbes said about the difficulty of regaining respect is, quite frankly, one of the coolest things I've ever heard a coach say.

No doubt.

"The hardest thing in life to regain is respect. And this team has gone out and regained the respect of our campus, our community, and the ACC, and across the nation. And I told them that before the game once you lose something like that, it's hard to get it back. And respect is something that is not given, it's earned. Do we have to finish more? Yeah. Do we have to do this year after year consistently? Yeah. But somebody had to do it. And this group did it. And I'm very very proud of them for that."

Yeah, throw that up on a plaque. Forbes understood what was expected of him and this team in a way Dino, [name redacted], and Manning didn't.
