NFL Year 2021 Superbowl LVI. Rams win! Wolford gets a ring!.

It’s not difficult. Respect and support your QB then pay him what he’s worth when it’s time.

UGA's Jordan Davis ran a sub 4.8 at the combine at like 340 pounds. So did Wyatt.

George Pickens ran a 4.40 coming off knee surgery.

Olave ran a 4.39.

Davis has Charlotte Speed.

That performance by him yesterday may have gotten him into round 1. But the problem with guys like Davis is they are rotational players who don't produce sacks. In today's pass happy game just how valuable is a run stuffing DT who occupies 2 O linemen? As much as I loved Brown coming out of Auburn, I don't think Carolina would spend a top 10 pick on him if they had it to do over. Unless you are a Donald or a Simmons who can get to the passer from the interior, I would not spend a 1st round pick on a DT. That said, how good was UGa's front 7 this year? I don't think I've ever seen a front 7 that good, despite that 1st hiccup to Bama, and those guys are going to be gone before day 3.

Yeah, and I don't think any NFL team wants their DT running 40 yards. That said, he's only a hair slower than Sage Surratt's 4.66 40-time at Wake Pro Day.

DT may run 40 yards during a play chasing Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson et al. Just not in a straight line.

A full speed DT who can make up ground on a QB trying to pass is a huge asset.

Yeah, but Davis was not much of a sack threat at UGa. Wyatt was the better pass rusher of the 2, and I think he's likelier to have the more successful pro career because of his pass rush ability.

Which is a 15-yard zig zag dash.

Obviously you never paid attention when Wilson,Jackson,Mahomes et al are in full scramble to make a pass mode. It's 27 yards from hash to far sideline. QB in shotgun is starting 5 yards back of line of scrimmage. That's 32 yards before zig zag.

Pilch was correct about Tom's athleticism coming out at the combine. He had the 9th fastest 40 and 3rd best 3 cone.

Calvin Ridley suspended through at least the end of the 2022 season for betting on NFL games in Nov 21 (which was when he was away from the Falcons)

I wonder how much money he was betting (if it really matters)

But when the league is forced to embrace the proliferation of available sports betting I would expect this to be a big problem when every player in the league could take 5 minutes, download an app, and wager a couple hundred bucks on NFL games

They can already do that now and have been able to do so for years. It's never taken much for players, coaches, or other personnel to bet on inside information.

in today's "WTF, really?!?!" Cowboys news...
