DeSantis is trying to build an autocratic conservative haven in Florida. I don't think he cares if "liberals businesses" leave or don't come. He wants open doors for conservative crony capitalism. There's also a practical side to that. If he can maintain conservative in-migration to Florida (retirees, conservatives leaving blue states), Republicans can beat back demographic changes at the polls.

Speaking of Nazi Tucker, Christian Smalls, who spearheaded the Amazon union organizing, went on his show to help Tucker slam AOC for abandoning them, along with the rest of the squad.

I guess we don't like AOC anymore and we're slamming her on a Nazi show? Cool, cool.

Since you were concerned

Hopefully she can do something about the price of my Amazon Prime going up.

Compare these Madison Cawthorn pictures to the Al Franken and Gary Hart pic.

Probably not an original idea since it is so obvious, but why don't we go back to 48 states? Give Texas back to Mexico (that was a bad idea to start with),

and saw Florida off and just let the current take it. Hell, half of it will be under water soon anyway. Problem solved.

Many people long for the "Good old days." So just send Texas back to the good old days of the late 30's and early 40's (18___ that is) when they were their own sovereign country, albeit, in a state of war with their southern neighbor.

I am beginning to think that for the good of the world we should probably break up the United States. Too much power is held by the few million Republican voters in Kentucky, etc. over the other 7.5 billion people, the climate, wildlife and other natural resources, etc. …Time to break up the monopoly, I think.

If Texas becomes it’s own state, can we just get them to pay for the border wall?

People from NY and California love to talk shit about Texas for people who are moving here in droves.

Good thing I'm not moving to Texas and can talk all the much deserved shit about it that I like.

Come on guys, let’s just agree that all the states are terrible in their own unique ways.

Posted this on the US GOP Debacle thread, but figured it might get more talk here:

Michigan State Senator, Tom Barrett, running for US Congress for Michigan's 7th Congressional District, sent this email out to constituents:

Shit, if we do this I definitely have to move, right?
