Totally Unofficial 2021/22 Champions League Thread (NWT)

Wow, I had no idea their stadium was ~23,000 seats.

Hard to figure that we have a larger football stadium than they have soccer stadium. Pretty crazy.

Three Champions League finals in 5 years is pretty damn good lad.

I know we've played Real Madrid a decent bit lately, but I would still rather play them than Manchester City.

Very strange season for Madrid. They are the team I'd least want to bet on winning any one match, but the team most likely to pull something crazy out of thin air.

I haven't followed world football as closely as I used to over the past few years, but I find it fascinating that I recognize virtually zero of these City players from the spending spree days.

oh God...I'm going to have to root on either Man City to finally win a CL or Liverpool going another one up and possibly clinching a Quad

this is gross and i hate sports

I'm not in your position, but you could just not watch

worked for me for the Duke-UNC final four game

Oh my word.

Grealish denied on the goal line and 5 minutes later Real Madrid has scored 2 and forced extra time.

Edit - forgot away goals weren't a thing.

That is unbelievable.

And still time for Madrid to add another lol
