You mean the golf media isn't happy about this? I hadn't heard.
Big day to be the mayor of North Plains, Oregon. How come they don't interview the mayor of Silvis, Illinois too?
I try, I really do. But I just can't.
Well I don't know, but maybe because there's no reason to interview the mayor. Maybe the mayor of Silvis was interviewed 22 years ago when it first came to Silvis. It's long been established that every PGA Tour event is great for the local community. But let me ask you a question. Will the sponsor/backer of the LIV Tour event be interviewed? Wonder if MBS will be in Oregon to do the interview face to face or if they will have to do it remotely? The CEO of John Deere will be interviewed - on an actual television network with people watching it and everything - and he/she will talk about how this affiliation with the Tour and the local community is so important and he will especially discuss the charities that benefit from the John Deere event. If I had any clue at all how to watch for a similar moment at that LIV event I would watch that part. That would really be something.

John Deere pays a bunch of money so their CEO can sit up there with Jim Nantz and talk about what an amazing company he has. I'll no doubt be watching that Sunday. And I'll be watching the LIV tourney along with millions others on Saturday and won't have to listen to that. I'm sorry Ward Cleaver that it won't be on your old tube TV.
I have some questions for the CEO at John Deere about some cases against his company for the atrocities they caused. Think Nantz will let me ask those questions? That would really be something.
The LIV messaging is hilarious to me. Freedom and family.
Yes John Deere pays a bunch of money to do that, along with the other reasons and results of that money that I mentioned. Let's compare that with the reasons Saudi Arabia and your boi MBS put in their money.
You are so fucking stupid I am infatuated by it. It's a tennis player's dream - I stand at the net and you hit shitty lobs slightly above head high and I hit them so hard the ball pops when it lands.
John Deere has committed atrocities? Alrighty then Ginger Shrimp. Tell us.
What they have done is a minor footnote to the worst atrocities by any government regime in modern history: The US Government's torture of innocent men in Gitmo for decades. The water boarding and torture was unprecedented. And to think those folks that we literally kidnapped from the middle east were 100% innocent and then deprived them of any due process. Murder cannot be worse than what Uncle Sam did there.
I'm glad our government has moved on from that and cleaned it up going forward, or as you say "washed itself" of such atrocities. Despite all those horrible things George W did, i'm still willing to do business here and not leave America nor falsely pretend that ALL Americans are evil or racist. Mistakes happen. W was given false information. It really sucks we did that though. It makes all of us look bad. No country should do that. It's terrible.

I really want the LIV tour to make the Perez's its poster couple for freedom and family.
At least Perez is owning that it's all about the cash.
Yeah, the LIV folks couldn't have picked a worse city to go to given how left wing Portland is and because of the homicide 6 years ago. They should stick to Trump courses and reddish states. Everything about LIV is a shit show.
Seriously. Whose idea was it to play an event in Oregon? Brilliant.
