Jimmy G is staying in SF. He agreed to restructure his non-guaranteed deal. SF was either going to cut or trade Jimmy as he was going to make $20 million+ if he was on SF's roster for game 1. Now, Jimmy G will make $6.5 million, and there are various incentives that could spike the compensation.

Dude has been living his life scot free for 10 months after he was accused. And even if he's found liable or guilty or whatever down the road, he could get a sympathetic judge who will give him a slap on the wrist and slap on the ass to tell him to get back out there.

And if someone is accused of gang rape, I'm not sure having "multiple witness reports" denying it is the big win they think it is. What are multiple witnesses going to say? They saw a 17 year old girl have sex with multiple men but it was consensual? Good luck with that.
 
Has there ever been an instance of someone [very publicly] whining about being canceled that didn’t deserve it? When you resort to saying that, sorry, but I gotta assume guilt.

1.Do you really not know the difference between being sued civilly and charged criminally?
2.No- a sympathetic judge in a civil suit can't slap him on the wrist. If he is found liable, the Judge will sign a judgment awarding the victim whatever amount the jury deems fit for her claim.
3.As I mentioned before, the most troubling issue is that nobody would have cared about this if he had paid the victim what she wanted before the suit was filed.
 
Don't we already know that this guy admitting to having sex with a 17 year old when he was 21 (and exposing her to an STD)? Pretty sure that's statutory rape in CA. Kaep was released and blackballed for kneeling. Releasing him is a no brainer. But, yeah, if he did already admit to having sex with a 17 year old, his dumb ass should've settled out. He deserves what he gets.

Yeah, a drunk 17 year old can't give consent. If he had sex with her (and telling her to get tested is pretty much admitting he did) then he raped her.

It's really tough to make a 53 man NFL roster as an undrafted free agent. To do it, you have to either convince the team that you are better than at least one of the guys they decided months ago were better than you; or, convince the staff you are better than at least one guy who already has been on NFL 53 man rosters before.

The Chargers waived Surratt (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Surratt played 17 offensive snaps and caught two of three targets for 15 yards during the Chargers' second preseason game, but he was sidelined for the final exhibition game due to an undisclosed injury. If he clears waivers, he'll revert to the Chargers' injured reserve list, which -- barring an injury settlement -- would end his 2022 season.

That was a bad pick by Gruden/Mayock. He wasn't regarded as a 1st round pick by many of the draftniks, and they took him at like 15. Dude really struggled in passpro at Bama at LT. I thought he'd have to move inside, but I guess he wasn't great there either.

Geez, how is this recent first round draft record for the LV Raiders?

2020 - Two first round picks:

- #12 Henry Ruggs - released after DUI leading to a fatal car crash
- # 19 Damon Arnette - released after video surfaced brandishing a gun and making death threats; later arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession

2021

- #17 Alex Leatherwood - released after one season

2022

- No first round pick.

Yikes, hard to have that many misses in a such a small time frame. Raiders...
