Sad and unfortunate news

Sad news. My condolences to his friends and family.

He passed way too young. May his young son and family find support in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Both as they mourn Charlie's death and as they move on in life.
 
This is truly shocking stuff...

I'm not really sure what else to say. I just get nauseated thinking about his son growing up without him. Hug your family tonight and lift up his family in prayer.

I appreciate this thread being absent of speculation, which we are all prone to do. This was posted by manifest destiny in another thread.

"Just so you guys know there were no signs of anything intentional. He was at a Better than Ezra concert that night with old friends he deeply cared about. Had plans to watch the Panthers on Sunday, sending funny messages later that night and simply never woke up.

This was a place he came to converse, vent, argue and connect. It helped him through many hard times and I know it meant so much to him.

One of our greatest memories was a brothers trip we took to Europe were Vad met us in Vienna and showed us the town. Just like in every aspect of his life he made these online friendships deep and real and meaningful."

This was my favorite BillBrasky post. I still laugh about it every time I see Mitch McConnell. It was from 2020 when Mitch appeared at a press conference with weirdly purple hands.
 
Fuck me. I never met him but he was a freshman at Alabama with a couple of my friends and they knew him well. I’ll think of him every time Liverpool gets a bullshit penalty for the rest of my life. RIP bud.
 
So sorry to hear of his passing. Will definitely miss having him around here.

As others have said, I feel terrible for his son. My condolences to his family and friends.
 
This is just awful. I only got to meet him once, at a Pit bar crawl years ago, but he seemed like such a good dude.

This is brutal only because it makes it even more heart breaking.
 
Terrible. Way too young. We have lost some of the old farts on these boards over the years, but I'm hard pressed to think of somebody so young, and with a little boy to boot.. Don't think I ever met him, as my last boards endeavor was a stumble into the Orange Bowl tailgate when he would've been a kid, and frankly, I don't really remember who I bumped into that night. RIP, BB. Life is truly too short.
