Yeah In high school I’m pretty sure it was constantly the, wow I pulled it off I tricked them, meanwhile a what a dumbass conversation between my parents.
The number of times I came home on a Sat or Sun morning hungover and puking thinking my parents fell for my "must have gotten food poisoning again" charade is laughable in retrospectYeah In high school I’m pretty sure it was constantly the, wow I pulled it off I tricked them, meanwhile a what a dumbass conversation between my parents.

Upon reflection, I've come to terms with the fact that my parents definitely knew I smoked a ton of weed in high school. There's no way they couldn't have known.
Yea I mean they’re mostly CIA operatives as I understand it, and I have little sympathy for our nation’s historical or recent efforts in Havana and China. A few diplomats, maybe some FBI agents seem to be affected and family members too, not ghouls categorically. But so far as I can tell the symptoms are broadly psychogenic, which doesn’t mean I can’t be sympathetic, but our Congressional and executive response to give them a bunch of money rings false to me compared with the average level of public care we give public sector workers.Probably related to your lack of sympathy for the Havana sufferers.
"State Department ghouls"? wtf
Most state department people are either Aggies, BYU grads or just Midwesterns who wanted a government job. At least 50% of them live off of pizza rolls and ranch dressing while living abroad. So I chuckled at the comment. There were a couple mornings I wish I could have blamed my hangover on Havana Syndrome.(Fully shooting from the hip here)
I chuckled here too. I’ll be sure to tel the Mrs. you’re a fan. Most state department employees are not intelligence operatives and are in fact some of our hardest working and cleverest bureaucrats.
Send me the bill for tonight's pizza rolls! god bless americaI chuckled here too. I’ll be sure to tel the Mrs. you’re a fan.
Can't wait till they find the tunnels...just let another liberty person in (sidenote: didn't realize "flame" was a thing for them until just now, should have tipped me off on the first one)... lets see how this goes 🍿
#wokeforestCan't wait till they find the tunnels...
I love how similar our lives areI'm afraid that my kids have spent too much time on the farm. We just got a call from the 4yo's pre-k teacher and apparently she just walked behind a bush and took a shit on the playground today and wiped with some leaves and went on like nothing had happened.
Idk I’m painting with a very broad brush here but appointees at embassies abroad are vanity positions. Their staff are hard working and able diplomats. And I’m not talking about most state department employees, I’m talking specifically about the few hundred people who filed insurance claims with Havana symptoms, most of whom worked for the CIA.I can't speak to the physiology of the responses other than to point out that the government has largely ignored other similar mysterious reports, assuming they're psychosomatic or something invented, only to discover later there was some serious stuff going on. Like gulf war syndrome.
My wtf comment was mostly in response to calling state department diplomats "ghouls". Most state department employees are not intelligence operatives and are in fact some of our hardest working and cleverest bureaucrats. even if you disagree with recent (?) us government policies on Cuba and Latin America (or whatever)
I never puked from drinking until college and only ever the morning after but I came home super hungover a few times and went straight upstairs mumbling some version of “we were up all night playing video games.”
Lotttttta beer pongSame. Worst hangover I ever had was probably in college too after a night with Townie and a few other boards folks. Then had an early flight next morning. That was rough. Definitely arrived home hungover even after the plane ride
