WFU @ Louisville – Sat 10/29 – 3:30 ACCN

Glad we saved Satterfield's job. Maybe Louisville will give him a long extension.

Our team still isn't used to having a target on its back. Quickly flush this giant goatfuck of a game and move on.

Just got back home from this debacle. I was in a section of uneducated UL fans...ugh. It looked to me like Louisville played like a team possessed against a team that was asleep at the wheel. We looked like we didn't want to be there. I've been able to attend 2 games this year... Clemson and this one. I'm 0-2. I think the problem is me going to Wake football games. I will stay home the rest of this season!... therefore, I predict we will win out and still go to the OB. Throw this game away and move on!

They had a crowd of 39k (stadium seats 60k) with great weather for a top-10 team and the AD didn't hire him. With the rest of their schedule ... wouldn't even be so sure on this.

No need for redundant words.

“if you take out the 35-0 third quarter, we would have won 21-13”
One of the most stunning and painful collapses I’ve endured as a wake fan. Enough of a gut punch that I didn’t want to watch any evening games.

This is a team that was not defined/defeated by a number of different adversarial situations this year: the indefinite loss of Hartman at the beginning of the season, a near-loss to Liberty and a heartbreaking loss to Clemson. In all cases they bounced back. I’m confident they will here as well.

In college football you can't coach speed and size, which is why you have to tip your cap to Clawson. I've always said the slow mesh is a contraption created by Ruggiero and Clawson to make us competitive. Today that just didn't do it, but it's honestly amazing that we're generally competitive with bigger faster teams.

That's what I feel like when I try to score with my wife. Plenty of time to take a shot downfield but most of the time, she just rolls over and heads to the locker room.
This is the only thing to come out of today's game to make me smile.

I still can't get over how badly the left side of the OL got blown up today. God o mighty. WTH? Louisville's "athletes" couldn't even beat BC.

Nah. Thanks for sitting through the debacle.

Maybe the problem is the gold helmets.

Let's go back to these lids- my favorite matte black helmet so far with the black logo trimmed in gold. Couldn't hurt....

At least the annual implosion game happened early in the year so we can close strong. I am confident we will close strong.
I’d have to watch the tape closely and Sam is the only one who knows for sure but I feel like the implosions coincide with Sam taking a borderline concussion inducing hit.

Can't sleep.

Sucks to get woodshedded at lewisville. :(

I thought the same thing when Sam's head bounced off the carpet. We'll see about any concussion protocol.

That game sucked. At the same time, had zero expectations we were going 5-0 across our Louisville/State/UNC/Syracuse/Duke run. Hopefully we lost the 1 game first and we'll still go 4-1...
