And yet, we had three drops (two from supposed NFL prospects) and an under-thrown ball by our veteran QB with a wide open receiver in first down territory to end a winnable game that somehow every single one of us knew we would lose.
 
I thought the play calling was fine down the stretch. I was actually pretty impressed that we threw the ball on 2nd downs on that final drive.

Some in our fan base continue to discuss how “unclutch” the ACC leader in TD passes is while completely ignoring the steaming pile of shit on the defensive side of the ball.

Perhaps Sam wouldn’t have to be so “clutch” every single fucking game if our defense could actually get a stop.

We also gave up a billion touchdowns and have a top 12 offense and a bottom 30 defense. I feel comfortable where I’m focusing my ire

I'm not really too upset, tbh. This is just what we do. If y'all are satisfied with what we do, then that's cool. I'm gonna drink a beer and watch a movie.

I'd be talking with Elko if I were an AD with an opening. Didn't say hire but would at least have the conversation.

Sure. If we had a better defense, it wouldn't matter that Hartman struggles to finish out close games.

i think because we are in large part a system offense. hartman is pretty good and our wrs are pretty good (maybe overrated by our fans, lots of drops). but we are not system than talent.

when we can’t play with tempo or have equal threats pass or run, we aren’t that effective (all anecdotal)

i do think we have overrated quite a few players on this team

those last few drops were lolbad
