MBB Game 29: Notre Dame @ LJVM - Saturday 7 pm - ACCN

My thought for Taylor and Keller playing is twofold: 1) our biggest issue is player fatigue. They are good enough to spell people for a couple minutes, and 2) they will only get better by playing against real competition. Look at how much Bobi has improved simply because he got thrown into the fire.

My god our FT shooting. That ND player passing to the ref was pretty funny though.

Good foul draws towards the end of the half. They've got injuries and already play about the lowest bench minutes in the country. Keep doing that.

I think we stretch this out and win by 8-12.

Gutsy effort in the first half especially Carr. You can tell he is playing through pain. Still too many TOs but under the circumstances not bad. Now let’s finish and win this!

I mean they have to play with Monsanto out. Not like Forbes has much of a choice here.

There's no issue more overblown than fatigue for this team. Sure, fatigue is a thing. Statistically we have to have Tyree on the floor just like UVA has to have Clark on the floor and UNC has to have Love/Davis on the floor. They play essentially identical minutes.

The team that can beat anyone in the ACC is Tyree/Monsanto/Hildreth/Carr/DependsOnMatchup. Taylor hit 2 threes and got a rebound. I'm glad he showing signs of having value next year. If he's scouted and denied at the 3 point line against the top 3rd of ACC teams let me know if he's in the plus for us when he plays this year...

Sure but they’d be better if they had gotten some minutes over the last month.

I mean Taylor wasn't with the team for a few weeks. And it's not like we've blown anyone out to get deeper into the bench. They'd still be sitting if not for injury. We'll have to trust the coaching staff on what they see on the regular in practice

Too many 3’s. ND short handed, drive the ball and draw fouls.

We are taking a ton of 3s. Missing on some really good looks.

Ugh, do we have to chuck up a three every possession?
