I dunno man. Out of school it was accounting so basically the palma “I went to wake forest and got my MSA” is all it takes. Also had used a recruiter a with my resume a different time and they kind of did the legwork to get to the interview

I got a text yesterday from Joe, Jill, Kamala AND Doug.

Apparently I’m kind of a big deal but if so you’d think they’d be asking for more than $20.
 
So we're doing this weekend sale at the store that I completely organized, set up the tastings for with reps, have been pushing social media for, cleaned up the entire shop, and scheduled folks so that it's properly staffed. The owner has basically done nothing the entire time, no real questions asked, no presence in the store to help out, no offers to do anything schedule wise.

Then I walk into the store this morning and find that the owner totally reorganized like 90% of the store overnight. Full scaled moved things around, added new shelving, put liquor on a totally different wall than it was, etc. And then called when I walked in with a list of no joke like 10 things to do that require WAY more than one day - including that he "isn't really happy" with the way we reorganized the wine previously.

The store looks good overall and it's not a problem but it's just MANIC behavior to not be involved whatsoever and then 24 hours before a big event that someone else who works there totally organized come in firing with a litany of requests, demands, instructions, etc.

Tell me I'm not the crazy one here chat thread!
 
I think I've only written a couple cover letters ever and that was because they were required for internship opportunities in law school. I largely ignored ones that didn't pay well and/or included a cover letter - a complete waste of time. I don't even believe I had to write a cover letter when I was applying to state clerkships

Seems like people always expect the VP to play some grand role and they're disappointed when the VP mainly focuses on an issue and does basic PR stuff. The media doesn't really cover the VP anyway. It's essentially a cabinet position with no defined purpose except to take over in case something happens to the President.

can confirm this was the benefit of the wake accounting degree. i had a 2.78 GPA and still got a job with a Big 6 firm

2.5 and didn't get the big 4, but the job I did get Wake just gave me and I didn't even have to apply
 
I have a friend like this. He is especially bad during a fantasy football draft. I started calling him Kiper and now everyone calls him that. I’m at a draft to drink beer, pick a couple Panthers and do the opposite of everyone else.
