First man to get a team of horses up Bear Mountain
It might have been 50/50, they both brought the ball up when they were on the court together.
Yeah. There's a key place for Green in the rotation. I was impressed. He looked like the type of raw energy guy who could really be a strong contributor as a starter or 6th man as a junior and senior.
I think TC or Chase will find themselves out of the rotation soon enough. Depending on conditioning, I think Bz could just commit to playing CJ, Travis, and Carson as many minutes as they can go and filling in with Fields, Green, Nikita, and TC or Chase around them.
If we had multiple passes per possession and yet only turned the ball over 16x, that is a substantial improvement. It seemed at times last season that we would have 16 turnovers in a half. (Not quite that bad, but seemed to be)
TC looked a lot better tonight than he did against Ferrum. Not great, but better. Did a good job of getting to the rim and getting his shots to drop. Fields is a surprise, but I wouldn't count TC out yet. Same goes for Fischer.
McKie played 35 minutes tonight (partly due to Nikita's foul trouble probably). I would expect to see that many minutes out of both CJ and Travis as the season progresses.
Nikita is energy and decent size. Shouldn't expect much more.
Is Nikita ever going to produce?
Out rebounded, but 1-0. I would be shocked if we out rebound three teams this year.
Carson didn't have a huge game but he is giving me hope that he can be a good C for us moving forward.
Loyola was better than, at least, 5 teams we lost to last year. Last year, that game would have been a loss.
