How is Klubnik this much worse after an offseason of being the starter? He’s such a mediocre passer.

This. Drop the sour grapes that we didn't beat Clemson specifically the last couple years and ignore their bullshit ranking. Clemson looks seriously flawed - and Duke is going to win this by 20 despite a really sloppy performance. Turnovers, penalties, poor run defense... This game has just been a mess.

If you're a Wake fan you now have Clemson sandwiched between the Techs, and they also will have lost to FSU by then. We get Pitt at home. If we're just a little better than we think we've shifted from a brutal rebuild-year type schedule to a real shot at the FSU game being a huge deal. Then who knows.

Love the shakeup. Klubnik is staring down every receiver making Duke's secondary look like gods. They aren't that good, Clemson is playing that bad. Fuck Clemson, congrats Elko, ACC power shakeup is just what the doctor ordered for Wake to sneak into contention.

I mean I know a kid who chose duke over WFU in the last couple years, overall perception right now is down for us and up for them, and that was just after one year in which duke played a bunch of little sisters of the poor teams and we shot ourselves in the foot too many times to give them a win. Can't imagine the fellatio that's about to happen to their program after starting off with a win vs CLEMSON.

It's not about sour grapes, it's just about who is doing the beating of Clemson in this scenario.

It's about thinking longer term, we want duke to be as shitty as possible for as long as possible. This isn't rocket science. There are very few schools that can pitch the same kind of football pitch Claws gives, duke is one of them.

You can be happy Clemson lost but also sad duke won and will get a ton of publicity for it. Timing just sucks. If clemson is shit and plays duke later in the season and they win (after Clemson has lost a bunch presumably), it doesn't matter as much.

There are a lot of parallels with the UNC/SC game this weekend.

Happy ACC gets a needed win against the vaunted SEC, but it fucking sucks it's the holes, and we don't really even recruit the same kinds of players as they do.
