GT Game Thread

I'm not sure I understand the question (and based on Deacsfan's tag there might be a joke I'm missing...)

There was no question. I assume research of effectiveness accounts for the additional weight.

There are a bunch of different ways it can be studied. Biomechanical studies with dummies can measure impact, torsion, etc. Those kind of studies may or may not take into account added weight. Then there are observational studies - does a player/position group/team/league have fewer concussions after implementation of Caps? Then one could even do randomized prospective trials, to really try to get an answer of effectiveness. These studies in actual players probably would not weigh the device and include it as a parameter, but the overall effectiveness of the Cap would be assessed.

Wasn't Hudson a LB until this season? Now listed as DE. Not too unusual I suppose in a 4-2-5.

Yep, I was up top too and they flew from behind my back and I instantly understood at least on some level what must be the terror of warfare. Definitely one of the most awesome/awe-inspiring moments I can recall that didn’t involve Nature or Nature’s God.
I agree must have been rather close to you because I was high up and they came from my back.

Wake’s tailgating policies say charcoal grills are prohibited but I’m curious if anybody knows from experience whether this is actually enforced?

Interesting. So why wouldn’t those studies account for weight?

I've seen people out there with charcoal grills so it doesn't seem to be enforced very strictly if at all.

is it a national broadcast on the CW or regional?
Don't think there is such a thing as a regional CW broadcast (it's a national network, or so I've heard from the LIV cult), but that might be better left answered by Donnie Greensboro, our resident CW expert around these parts.....

well there are local affiliates, and local affiliates (including I'm sure some CW stations) used to carry the old JP games

and like the Bally games were only on the Bally South and a few other stations, right? or were they on all Ballies nationwide?

John Currie has said that games on CW are a national broadcast. If that’s not true, I’m screwed unless it’s also on the espn app.

The weight of the Cap? Because it doesn't necessarily matter. Either the biomechanical forces are different or they are not. In the human studies, either one has a concussion or they do not.

But you just said the weight matters. Weight is weight. Unless they're playing football in space, it's part of the whole equation.
