I scrounged from every business around. The biggest help was from our local LGBT restaurant / bar. I had to walk to the back bar to get my quarters. That was the first time I sort of understood how It feels to be a woman walking into far too many rooms. Just completely objectified. It was dark enough that they would not have seen what I look like at first so not a humblebrag story. Just a "holy shit I got eye f d and it felt super creepy. That's what it's like for women everyday.

Yeah this has definitely happened a handful of times to me as well. The opposite is I went out with my roommates in law school a couple times to a lesbian dance club and I've never been more wallpaper in my entire life

We would occasionally drop by the gay bar where my wife's friend like to shop for meat. I was once told that I have eyebrows to kill for. Pretty much made my year.

Two week service trip living in a double wide trailer in central Florida one summer. The counselor had a bunch of Travis Tritt, Tim McGraw and other 80s and 90s country cds. We had no tv, no internet, no cellphones. Just spent every night hanging out and listening to his music collection. I’ve just really been into old country music ever since.

Can't find the biking thread, so I guess I'll post here (we're trying to wrap this up, right?).

Bought a new (to me) bike last weekend to ride around the neighborhood and with my kids - I was tired of riding my full sus 29" MTB with the kids and if they're not riding ON the bike, the RadWagon is a big old fat pig to ride if it's a family cruise. I got a 26" BMX bike (cruiser) and it's so fun to blast off curbs and bunny hop stuff like I'm a kid again.

Work sucks right now and I'm in a weird spot with a merger so I went to the pump track today during lunch and had a blast. Good work out and fun way to get some sunshine and blow off a little steam. I will definitely be doing that again.
 
@TimmyClutch - is that your dog in your avatar? Chocolate Lab?

I've got a black lab, Chief, just turned 3. He's a great dog - we adopted him a couple years ago and absolutely hit the jackpot with him. He's great with the kids, super trainable, great working drive. Just an all around great dog!

Then I remembered some dogs get waaaay two (did I do that right?) far up in your bidness when you are trying to get down with your significant other (or rando milf @WindyCityDeac )

I've locked the dog out of the room. #don'tc-blockme-dogo
