Will there be any fall colors? They are peaking here right now. Maybe too early for NC?
Not in the piedmont/winston area really I don't thinkWill there be any fall colors? They are peaking here right now. Maybe too early for NC?
Checking a bag just for that reason....and maybe for beer too (and because I'm sure my son will end up buying UNC, Duke, and WFU sweatshirts).Gopher, not sure if you’re checking bags on the way back to MN, but if you are, definitely pick up a few bottles of Lexington BBQ’s Smokehouse Sauce. If you just have carry-ons, PM me and I’ll send you a very close to it recipe.
Surely someone here can hookup Gopher with some homemade moonshineChecking a bag just for that reason....and maybe for beer too (and because I'm sure my son will end up buying UNC, Duke, and WFU sweatshirts).
I'm not really into hard liquor but any notable locally-made spirits? Sometimes will bring stuff like that back as gifts.
That’s an easy one if visiting NC for the first time, Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon Moonshine. FYI, unlike by you, for liquor, you have to buy it from a state liquor store (no easy shopping in the grocery store). I’d get you some real moonshine from the Carolina mountains, but won’t be in town on Sat.Checking a bag just for that reason....and maybe for beer too (and because I'm sure my son will end up buying UNC, Duke, and WFU sweatshirts).

I just looked it up...can actually buy it at my local liquor store. But maybe there's a variety that's only available in NC???That’s an easy one if visiting NC for the first time, Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon Moonshine. Purchasing Duke and UNC gear is not necessaryChecking a bag just for that reason....and maybe for beer too (and because I'm sure my son will end up buying UNC, Duke, and WFU sweatshirts).

Trust me...I can't stand them! But the only gear that's banned in our house is Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota.Purchasing Duke and UNC gear is not necessary

You would be well served to ban Duke and UNC gear tooTrust me...I can't stand them! But the only gear that's banned in our house is Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota.
If you ask them, they'll be in the Big Ten soon enough. You would be well served to ban Duke and UNC gear too
You can definitely find UNC gear at stores around here. Not sure about Duke. They probably sell duke and unc gear in the Minneapolis airport. Save your money.
Broad Branch is a local Distillery that has some pretty solid picks (Rye is good): https://www.broadbranchdistillery.com/distillery/I just looked it up...can actually buy it at my local liquor store. But maybe there's a variety that's only available in NC???
It is beautiful just the way it isOk. Just finished at Putters and heading to stadium. Not sure how the Putters building is still standing. It could use a makeover.
