Canka might be alright.
Clearly has the frame to defend on the wing. On offense, vs. Elon or some bad team he just needs to get some shots up and settle down.

It wasn’t pretty, but thank god we pulled this out. It really would’ve been season over after 4 games.
He almost fouled out last night and didn't do anything tonight. He was worn out. He is not a 5.

Carr can play the five for short stretches. He doesn't have the bulk to be effective for long stretches, even with the added muscle from this past off season.

It's tough to know what to expect. On one hand, he's only a sophomore. On the other hand, he turns 22 at the end of the season and he played several seasons of pro ball and FIBA tournaments before coming over to the US.

Boopie cam Carr and Parker all at 120 offensive rating which is…very good. Let’s keep riding that wave. Parker has no turnovers in four games which even for what he’s doing out there is spectacular. Boopie and Sallis similarly in single digit TO rate which is great

This was a good win as Towson is a gritty team and well coached.
They were solid 2 years ago with Timberlake and their guy Tejada looked good. I'd take him on our team now.

Canka also had a concussion and missed presumably several practices and the charity game vs Alabama. I’m choosing to believe that that time lost has put him behind. But, he’s shown absolutely nothing promising.

If we had only been rebounded by 10, we would have won by close to 20 tonight. Fascinating.

We are 245 and 250th in offense/defense rebounding. That’s just awful for an ACC team
Scary that there are 5 ACC teams currently worse on defense than that.
Wake is the 3rd best offense in the league presently.

You guys have got it all wrong. Those idiots tired themselves out by chasing all those rebounds. By the time there was was only 5 minutes left, Boopie was blowing by them like they were standing still! That Steve Forbes is a crafty one.

Yeah, our rebounding is damn bad. Marsh takes up a lot of space when he plays, but Carr just isn’t physical enough to battle against legit centers/PFs. We need Efton out there as soon as possible. I bet we hear on Monday/Tuesday next week and I think he’s going to get the waiver.
