They certainly mis-evaluated the QB situation. Kern should’ve been the guy of the ones we had, with Tino at 2nd ready to go. I feel for Mitch too, not his fault he was in that position.

I don’t know who we tried to get. Clawson specifically mentioned DL as an area where we tried to get talent in the portal and were outbid for the talent we identified.

It just emphasizes that targeting developed players pays more dividends than gambling on unproven HS commodities.

We need to pivot the "developmental program" mentality into this "nab the best FCS developed player" mentality if we want to succeed in this new world, IMO.
 
I just watched the game. Wtf? Clawsen has lost his mind. The last series two runs, not kicking the xtra point putting yourself 4 down. fucking stupid. Weak weak weak

At least Kern and the Olins had some moments.
