MBB Game 12: ACC Opener - Hokies Visit The Joel - Saturday 2pm - ESPN2

If we end up ahead of all 4 of those in the metrics by end of season, it’s gotta be almost a certainty that we make the NCAAT
Fourth in the ACC right now behind Duke (8), UNC (13), Clemson (20).

Way too early for this but also projected as the fourth place team in the ACC at 12-8 (and the double bye). Top three teams slated at 15-5. ACC is basically doing the same thing they've done the last few years with losing non conference games, cannibalizing itself, and making it hard for bubble teams to get advantageous wins.

Just seems he’s pressing a bit when he gets it but maybe it’s just me. No complaints here I’m sure it’ll come!

I think Forbes has told him to do that. He was non existent the past two games.

Would love to smash BC, but a loss is not crippling, if it's a competitive game.

Post is probably one of the few big men in the league who can give Reid trouble.

This looks like the first Grant team that has a better offense than defense at BC.

Getting out of this stretch with at BC, Miami, at FSU with two wins would be good. One makes it a tough road. Three could put us in the AP top-25 for the first time in a long time.

This is true. Another way to look at BC though is that they're the 4th easiest road game we play overall. So if you're looking to get to 13 or 14 wins, you're gonna need to hold serve on 8/10 at home and pick up 5 or 6 road wins. So BC is in that group of games that you're likely going to need to pick up.

Forgive me if I missed this but what is the deal with Marsh not playing at all?

BC tickets acquired. Five rows behind the Wake bench. $13 a pop. Could've gotten $2 tickets in the "upper deck" but figured...we can shell out a little more for no fighting over me moving down to random seats
I might have not been able to figure out where the Wake bench is. We’re 5th row, section M.

He's terrible at everything except dunking lobs, which teams know and haven't let him get this season. He does take up a lot of space though.

Forbes plays two players each at the 4 and 5. Reid and Keller played 20 min each. Carr played 29 and MMM played 11.

I understand why the NET doesn't weigh games later in the season differently than earlier in the season, but that's pretty stupid and another reason why you need actual humans to consider the totality of the circumstances under which a team played over the course of a 30 game season. We're about a third of the way in, and Wake is already a clearly different team.
