I think if I was wealthy enough to visit Disney privately I’d still want to go through it like a poor because that’s part of the magic. I’d probably stay at one of those fancy ass resorts instead of pop century though. As long as it has the access to the skyliner.
We started going to Universal in 2020. We could book the Deluxe hotels with the complementary Express Pass for like $160 a night. You get used that. Going as a "poor" and staying in regular hotels and waiting in lines is fine, but it's a different experience.

I have not found these deals you speak of. We obviously do genie plus at Disney though, but the queues are pretty amazing for most rides.

That was during the pandemic.

Reasonable lines are a nice time to chill out a little bit, especially at amusement parks. The only times I get sick on rides is when I do 4-5 coasters back to back without lines to space them out.

Because you don't need 4x the crew members taking care of each person.
Then it should be even more profitable for them! There's gotta be a balance out there between a standard cruise and the price to rent a yacht out there for the middle market joe.

Just watched the first episode of American Nightmare on Netflix. Pretty intriguing so far. Anyway of course there was a clip of Nancy Grace in the episode because that bitch makes it on to every true crime doc now. So we got to talking about how insane it is that these people make so much money. We looked it up and old Nancy is estimated to make $8MM/year. The world is such a fucked place.

Part of cruise economics is the crew works 7 days a week on 9 month contracts.

She was also reprimanded at least twice for withholding evidence and knowingly allowing a witness to testify falsely under oath.

Edit: it autocorrected reprimand
