I don't think I'm redrawing any expectations. I've been pretty clear of where I set the bar for this year and the next two. Next year, we should be a bubble team. Depending on the schedule, that means roughly 20 wins and 7+ in the conference (8+ with the added conference games next year, if that happens). 2013-14, Sweet 16.

If we don't meet those pretty aggressive goals, I'll be disappointed. If we make the tourney in 2013-14 but don't make the Sweet 16, I'll be disappointed. I doubt I'll be calling for Bzd's head on a pike, but I'll be disappointed. If we fail to make the NCAAs, I want his head on a pike.

If we have a losing record next year, I want his head on a pike. How much clearer need I be fellas. I'm taking a much bolder position than you are. I will never pull for Jeff [Redacted]. My interest in Wake Basketball will be marginal until he is gone.

I try to convince myself that I would support the team if we made the NCAA next year, but even then, it would realistically only be half-hearted.

Being a sports fan is all about faith. You have to believe that next year is the year. I will never have that faith with [Redacted] as our head coach. The little fire in my heart was extinguished. I miss it.

The 100 of 150 comes from the Bzzz hire days, over at DS. Not searchable, sadly, so enjoy that out.

I've established the goals I'd like to see [Redacted] accomplish. And posted them on this here site. Go ahead and search them if you want to - might want to check up on some of your earlier posts in the process, so OGB stops embarrassing you so much. It's getting unseemly.

Appreciate the honesty. You're going to get drilled for it by a few folks, but I understand the psychology. I think if Bzd exceeds your expectation significantly in a year or two, you'll find your faith

I used to plan around Wake bball games.. catching 7PM games on the left coast was a challenge, but I made it happen. I am only one time zone away now and make no such effort.

It's not semantics. At the beginning of the year I said I expected 15 wins and people laughed and said I was insane. Everyone was predicting 7-10 wins for the entire year. I still expect 15 wins. I'll be disappointed if we win less. I'd iron clad consistent. I honestly don't get how you could consider it anything other than consistent.

Plus, it's all just a smoke screen. The fact is that if this team wins 15 games or even 14 games, you will find some reason to dismiss it and hate on Bzd (and thus the team) anyway. Even though you'd have considered it the ACC COY job before the season started to get to 15 wins. You're just a pussy, Irish. to me anyway.
 
15 wins means that we will end up 6-10 in the ACC this season. I can't see that happening. I'll be mildly surprised if we get to 4-12.
