lol @ tag: awaken to replace bz? is this TMZ reporting?

Looks like most everyone has players available but I can add a couple from my net who are in reach and I won't be pursuing - both look to me like bsg w/ decent size who can score some.
1)6'6 hs sg; 3/3 at 16rpe - P sct f+f+p+e-(p+)n+

2)6'7 hs sf; 1/1 at 15 rpe - f+ sct e-f+f-g-(f+)g+

I have a couple other bPG types I'm still looking at but, w/ 2 Cl's in my top 4, I hopefully won't need. If any one needs a player there let me know and I should be able to help you out after this week's recruiting processes.

Awaken, hope you consider me to an assistant/recruiting spot. I am young and energetic, and relate to the players. I have the fire to get the big names:p haha

Boca Raton 108
Ft Myers 57

The storm was out in force tonight as they were hungry for a 6th straight c13 title. The victory fell 4 pts shy of tying coach Stormfury's largest winning margin. Despite the drubbing the team somehow managed to drop 1 in the rankings. (Odd....)

Several players had great nights with Atkins leading the way with 4 assists, 2 steals and 33 pts. SR Cochran continues to be the teams 2nd scoring option with 22 pts and 6 boards. Mo Poisson tallied 17 off the bench and Gonzalez had 5 steals & 5 assists.

In scrimmages, some very interesting results as well. Flagstaff won 63 to 61 in a tight game where both teams combined for 27 turnovers. In a scrimmage against Philly, Swooper decided to test out several players which resulted in Boca winning 78 to 63.

Lost by 4 to Kalamazoo. Played a great game except we gave them a parade to the FT line and they made 25-28. Unreal. Their post game is sick. Montgomery had 24/7 to counter 13/10 from Ruffin and 15/8 from Corley at PF. My SG got owned. Fouled out and was held to 4-13 shooting and gave up 20 points.

Flagstaff 107
Tacoma 90

Flagstaff picked up another nice conference win setting up our showdown with Yuma for the C32 conference championship. My guards played great tonight with Angelo Pedigo going for 26 in 21 minutes (second game in a row with foul trouble) and Gene Macklin had his best game of the season going for 19 points on 8-10 shooting to go along with 3 boards and 5 steals. Paul Livingston also added 16 and Edwin Clausing had 11 from the bench. Should be a great showdown on friday for the C32 title.

Also had a solid night in scrimmages, beating Boca by 2 and Duluth by 8. Ph, i'm pretty shocked at how Montgomery outplayed Ruffin given how well Ruffin played defensively on Naquin. Naquin and Montgomery scrimmaged to a draw almost every time in almost 10 scrimmages I ran. Thanks for the scrimmages coaches.

And now Cason has hit a wall. Two disappointing performances in a row. This team should be scoring a hell of a lot more than they are, but putting in an extra distributor in the lineup doesn't get the scoring going any better than stacking the lineup with Exc shooters. 14 games in and I'm still tinkering...

I'd go with what you used against me haha. Glad I could allow Cason to score enough to tire him out. My bad bud.

Defensively, I did a good job on Ft Worth, holding them to 77 is a big deal for me hahaha. Bad news is i couldn't score and that hurt me

Storm, do you think that loss hurts me that much? Trying to finish strong, but I also know I won't be beating him anytime in the near future

If your going to lose, you want to lose to #1 PR wise. I don't think the loss hurts you but you need to not have a let down against Dallas and ideally 1 or 2 wins in the conf. tournament to secure that at large bid.

Just depends on where you finish up with your PR. Usually there are between 50-56 or so "at large bids" given, you you need to stay right around where you are to get one.

Cool. We'll I should beat the guy friday, and I will be a 4 seed probably in Conference tourney, so If I can take care of business that first game that will be a good step forward. Man I am going to miss Ruis

Big game against Green Bay tonight and the Deacs came out ready to play...a 91-51 beat down!

A lot of stuff is still being worked out but I think we are getting there. Starting to think that we could be a tough out in tournament play. I am sick of fucking with Harding and am now practicing directly for him at the moment. He wants PG and is E int...hope he proves his worth the rest of the season and next year!

Fargo blew its chance to win the conference w/ a 7 point loss to Denver. We improved from the last time out, but got killed in the turnover battle. Fortunately, my likely freshman class should improve my team's Hands dramatically.

Speaking of which: as a small program, I haven't run a lot of scrimmages, but I just got some curious results in one featuring a lot of my net players. I know one scrimmage is far from definitive but how much should I read into just one? Enough to make legitimate changes to my net approach?

Storm and Ph,
Sorry I didn't see your scrimmages earlier. These boards are now blocked at work, and I didn't see them until games were run tonight. We'll see how we did on Friday. Thanks for the scrimmages. I gave you each my current lineup.

DiV,
If you give credence to the "tired" theory, consider resting Cason vs Paducah. You won the first meeting by 30, so you can probably win without him. If it works, you'll get deep runs in the C18 and NTT. Good luck.

Frankfort's lineup change was further validated with a 92-74 win over Carbondale (old lineup won by 2). Carb's Cason got his points, but averaged a 1pt/shot to get it - far below his average. Cold night for him from three (3/14 - almost all his missed FG's). Maybe it was our team's short shorts that distracted him? If so, then Gobin and Whitlow were completely flummoxed - 0 pts each. Brett Sagers maintained focus and scored 21 on 9 of 11 shooting. Elmer Custis led the Deacon Blues with 23 on 11/16. Thomas Patrick with 10 pts, 9 boards, 5 assists. Not bad for a +3 center.

diesel with a nice win over Waterloo tonight - congrats!

Since I now have only one player on my squad who was a max tie (Marvin Haynes, and he was only a 1/1), I could use someone who could help me bring in the big fish.

No sweat. I just want to get a sense of where my starting lineup is going into the NTT.

Someone (tau?) added that after my latest NTT championship.
It was a very nice gesture.

let me know if you need someone to hand you your double-bubble...just don't have me recruit big men!
