Duke vs. North Carolina

Most grads that I know are generally reasonable and are no different in their fanhood than anyone else (there can be a hint of entitlement with these people, but I find it to be manageable).

The people that make Carolina hateable are the yahoo Wal-Mart morons that call sports talk radio shows. Those are the people that piss me off when it comes to UNC, and Duke has their fair share of them too. When you combine Duke's Wal-Mart presence with everything else that is hateable about their program and players, I think Duke comes across as the clear winner.

Everett Withers added a new dimension to the Wal-mart spectrum, that of the "Bandwagon Coach". Similar to a bandwagon fan, the guy gets a full ride to play football at very respectable Appalachian State, but he's a "lifelong UNC fan" who has the nerve to take a pot shot at NCSU with the "flagship university" comment . And like most bandwagon fans he's so blinded by his baby blue eyes to not even recognize the stupidity of such a comment when "your" university is under a major NCAA investigation for academic fraud.
 
I think the Carolina Football fans are much worse than Basketball fans.

Across the country Duke is everyone's second favorite program because "they do everything the right way." This is why I hate them.

Also, why does Miles Plumlee have a fade? Who told him that was a good idea? What made him think that someone as aesthetically challenged as himself could pull off a hair cut that makes white people look stupid in general? And, if Duke players are so smart, how has he not realized that it makes him look even dorkier than "normal" so maybe, just maybe, he should let it grow out instead of letting the abomination live?

I don't always pull for duke, but when I do they are playing UNC
 
I always pull for the visiting team for this game. I just want disappointed fans.
 
I really think Rivers would become one of my least favorite dukies ever, except he's not going to be around long enough.
 
Say what we will, that was a good half of basketball. UNC got big block and basket to close out the half.
 
I can't believe I'm saying this but Roy is outcoaching K in this game.

No - Roy has 4 first round picks in his starting 5. Duke isn't a top 10 team this year.

Also, this second half hasn't been nearly as fun (can you call it that?) to watch cause it's being called so tight.

Watching good college basketball teams always fun. There aren't many to watch these days but Cuse, Ky, Mizzou, Kansas, UNC-Ch & Duke are there. Probably Murray St this year, just haven't had a chance to watch them.
