Recent Purchases Thread

Was given one of these as a birthday present. We love the thing. We can now make sodas for $0.20 per litre, and it has no preservatives. Oh so tasty.

so they're actually good. I was thinking of registering for one...

They are. You can really play around with the carbonation and syrup levels to get the taste you want. We've got a 12 pack of canned sodas left, and once those are done, we probably wont be purchasing any more. Its also a great conversation piece when people come off and you offer to make the a fresh soda.

Yeah, they are great. We use ours all the time. And we've given a few out as gifts and everyone has loved them as well.

How hard is it to replace the CO2 cylinders? Are they easy to find in local stores? Sounds like they rip you off big time from the Amazon.com reviews.

It's ridiculously easy to replace them. You can go online to Sodastream.com and find all of the places in your area where you can return and get new ones. There are like 10 places within a 10 minute drive of where I live.

Bed Bath and Beyond is probably the easiest place that I've found so far.

The orange soda is ridiculously good, and I like the diet coke as well. But like you I haven't had anything that wasn't good. I use it most for soda water for vodka sodas and the like, and the little bottles with orange or lemon-lime flavoring make a nice change for that. I like that you can regulate how strong the flavor of the soda is.

We picked up the diet orange, and I'm thinking that'll go well with some marshmellow or whipped cream flavored vodka. So many possibilities. I racked up on flavors yesterday at BB&B, so I'll do a lot of experimenting.

I wasnt very impressed with the energy drink syrup, but my wife loved it. I've never been a big fan of Red Bull either, so that might come into play.

Yesterday I became the proud owner of a 2008 Subaru Legacy Outback. She is beautiful.

I also finally upgraded to an iPhone, from which I am currently posting.
