Corchiani and Gugliotta just ejected from RBC

In other news, I'm pretty sure Karl Hess is going to have to pay closing costs after all.

Maybe Gugs and Corch had expressed interest in tying the knot and Hess advised them to hop on a late flight to New York to seal the deal.

take the acc history class.

I took that class a few years back and couldn't have told you who those people were either. Then again, I didn't start paying attention to college sports until my arrival at Wake in 2002.

I was at the NCST-WF game back in the 90s when Corchini flipped off the wake crowd several times during the game. He's always been kind of a dbag.

I'm trying to imagine a scenario where Chill (pre-AD hire) and Duncan show up at a game and start showing their ass, get tossed and wave to the crowd as they are escorted up the tunnel.

Embarrassing.

Except for your scenario to be similar to this one chill and duncan would do nothing and then get tossed by a guy being an ass that's trying to make the game about him.

To be fair to Brendan, I am not even sure that he was born when these guys were playing at State.

Hess really has his coming. I mean he has it coming. Karma just doesn't work that way.

If I was Yow I would have had them restored to their seats. She was probably at home playing bunk-o though.

We should have students show up at the next game he officiates in the Joel with signs that say, "Toss Me, Hess."

"Karl Hess #11The most prolific scorer in Liberty basketball history, Karl Hess, did so without the luxury of a three-point line, racking up a program-best 2,373 points. He was the team captain of Liberty’s 1980 NCCAA National Championship team as a senior, earning All-Tournament and MVP honors.

Liberty retired his jersey on Dec. 2, 2006. Hess finds himself atop many school record lists, including first in field goals (951) and second in field goals attempted (1,798). Hess ranks first in free throws (471), free throw percentage (89.9%), assists (648), and is tied for second in games played (120).

Hess, a four-year starter, has a list of personal achievements that include winning Liberty’s Rock Royer-Mac Rivera Award (1980), NCCAA First Team All-American (1980) and CoSIDA Academic First Team All-American (1980) college division.

A 5-11 guard from Shickshinney, Pa., Hess currently is a psychologist and resides in Lynchburg with his wife, April, and their two sons, Nate and Zack. Hess also travels extensively as a major college basketball referee, primarily officiating SEC, ACC and BIG EAST games.

Hess served as the crew chief for the 2007 NCAA Men’s National Championship game between Florida and Ohio State. The honor entailed tossing the jump ball between 2007 NBA first round draft picks, Joakim Noah (Florida) and Greg Oden (Ohio State).

If you're at least in your 20s and don't know who Corchiani and Gugliotta are than your relocated Yankee. Lets stop dancing around the obvious people.

I was 8, living in Boston. Pro sports dominate the scene here. College football is a distant 5th, with college basketball being an even more distant 6th. College hockey is almost as big as college basketball up here, even more back then (way way less national TV coverage of random conference hoops games but some TV coverage of local college hockey Maine / BC / BU). My first college hoops memories are really the UMass refuse to lose years, that's the first time I can really remember people in school talking about college hoops. I highly doubt many NC State games were televised anywhere near here. Sorry I didn't pick up on Corchiani's assist numbers reading the newspaper.

Two legends sitting with their children get tossed, yet these fans are allowed to get away with this.
