Mint was very good the other week. Will definitely go back again although I don’t know if young people will be that excited about it. We like The Local as our default place. Very good by Boone standards for family fare. The Cardinal is good for burgers.

Depends on what you mean by culture. Asheville would probably be your only option for a variety of fine dining and cultural offerings. However, there are several areas and pockets with good people that make great neighbors.

I have hunted my entire life, have a great bird dog, and own several firearms, including some very nice shotguns that are probably embarrassed to seen with me. I mostly hunt quail, woodcock and deer. However, I don’t hunt as much as I used to growing up.
