Efton's status has been discussed on multiple threads. Think it deserves its own. Hope we learn something one way or another - soon.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons - 2022-23 hoops season

Forbes just cracks me up. He gives such great interviews. I know we lost 76% of our scoring from last year's squad, but I feel unusually bullish about the 22-23 team. Forbes certainly seems to feel good about things heading into the season. Can't wait.

Coach Clawson - PLEASE go after Joe Milton

Just noticed that Michigan's Joe Milton has entered the transfer portal. Would love to see him as the "player to be named later" in our trade to U-M for Chaundee Brown (which has thus far netted Luiji Vilain and Christian Turner). Milton can throw the ball a mile. Originally from Pahokee, FL...

Will DuBose and/or Antonio return next season?

Give that last October the DI Council extended eligibility for winter sport student-athletes for an additional year, what are our chances of having both DuBose and Antonio return next season? Both would appeal to other suitors. Jonah could be promised more minutes and FG attempts elsewhere (and...

CBS story on John Collins ... and Manning's development of big men

This story was referenced in the Collins POY thread, but I think it deserves a thread of its own. Despite playing in the deepest conference (the ACC), the Wake Forest sophomore continues to be overlooked on a national level (so let’s change that a bit right here and now). Collins is also the...

    Miles Overton

Was curious as to how Miles was performing for Drexel thus far this season. Ouch! Shooting 62-218 from the field (28.4%) and 27-107 on 3's (25.2%).

Wake Forest vs. Louisville Game Thread - Sunday, 8PM ESPNU

I'm sure Louisville is still favored, but this is an absolutely winnable game for the Deacs as Louisville's 2nd leading scorer, Trey Lewis, is out with a sprained ankle and Mangok Mathiang remains sidelined with a broken foot. Will be pulling hard for Danny and the boys to win again on the road.

    John Collins

... deserves his own thread. Averaging 10.3 ppg and 6 rpg in 12 minutes per game. Outstanding. He struggled early tonight but obviously finished strong. We've got a keeper. Very bullish on the Class of 2016 at this point based on the staff's ability to identify talent.

Weekend performances by Deacs who have transferred elsewhere

Chase Fischer with 20 pts. (3-7 on treys) as BYU beats Utah Valley, 85-54 on Friday. Tyler Cavanagh with 15 pts. and 17 boards as George Washington defeats Lafayette, 85-76 on Friday. Bill Moto's 28 pts. and 9 rebounds aren't enough as Towson loses by 2, 78-76, to La Salle on Saturday. Aron...

Alumni Engagement Survey - OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE FEEDBACK RE. [Redacted] HIRE

Just received an automated E-mail from Kelly Meachum (Executive Director, Alumni Services) re. a short, eight-question survey as concerns alumni engagement. The survey also includes a section where you can add your own comments. I used that opportunity to type of few sentences about how...
