Ha. At our school they actually have an in-house aftercare program that is staffed by school employees (mostly classroom assistants and operations assistants). Definitely not getting any sort of "instruction," but a slight step up from high schoolers.

In our case I think one month of aftercare is cheaper than, or at least on par with, one week of nannyshare / daycare.
