Just returned from a ski trip to Big Sky and would highly recommend. Tons of trails/lifts with limited crowds. American just started offering a direct flight from Charlotte to Bozeman and current fares are very reasonable...about $275 per person round trip.

I second the recommendation on Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain. All 3 of my boys spent several summers there and loved it. Also, it is close to Merri-Mac, a camp for girls that is between Black Mountain and Montreat.

I can not recall the exact story but I believe that Mark Packer " discovered QCB " about 8-10 years ago when he was working at a fast food restaurant in Charlotte. He impressed Mark with his personality and Mark got him an entry level job at the radio station and he worked his way up from there.
