Deacon middle distance runners rocked Friday in Charlotte

I thought they had a big night of partying and someone decided it was worthy of its own thread. Rock out middle distance runners!

Who are the legitimate point guard targets? Or are we just going to play with 5 guys all over 6'10.

You don't have to be a good coach to win in college basketball. You just need a competent coach and lots of money. Forbes isn't "the" problem. If you had enough cash to keep this team together, like UNC money, we would be a tournament team next year. A better coach would have got this team...

If Carr isn't leaving for money, then I agree, but Boopie, Sallis and basically every other player in the country are $$$ driven. There are no restraints on transferring. No obligations to finish a contract, just purely market driven and if someone will give a kid an extra $100,000 next year...

Returning three starters (that actually should be ACC starters) would for the first time in forever have felt like we had a recognizable team. Like everyone keeps saying, when you have everyone leave, rinse and repeat, its just not enjoyable. I'm sure Forbes will put together a competitive...

I struggle with this. Forbes can coach up guys in the portal and turn them from mediocre to first team ACC players, but others seem to fall through the cracks.

This is what kills me. Fine, if the possession breaks down and Ried is wide open late in the shot clock, take the shot, but he should never take a three with more than 10 seconds left on the shot clock. The team needs to be coached. That last game was a microcosm of all our bad habits and...

One would think that 48th means you come back to college and make $1m and see what next year looks like.

We have no bench. Friedrickson is shooting about 8% in the last month. Monsanto is gone and Marsh plays like he has no thumbs.
