If Shaka Smart leaves VCU he can eat shit. I liked the dude when he talked about staying there because he didn't want to walk out on his players like so many of the males in their lives had. If he leaves he's just a sellout like so many before him.

Every fanbase needs a little dirt kicked in their face from time to time. I wonder if the VCU guy who put out the fake Twitter feed to troll the coaching search last year tried that again this year.

Hopefully, VCU makes a terrible hire and that program becomes a wasteland with a $25 million dollar practice facility paid for by student fees.
 
He was holding out for Texas? That is strange. Going to be a big adjustment going from the top sports figure in town to a place where basketball is at best 4th behind football, spring football and baseball.

Money in a program is important...no doubt. But interest is more important if you ask me.
