I mean this is the Panthers thread for people talking about all things Panthers (who are generally Panthers fans). There's gonna be banter about the team in general.

There isn't much to say on Dortch. He's practicing, he's on the 53 man roster and guaranteed that spot I believe for at least two more weeks (and I think gets paid the rest of the year regardless of if he's cut or not - I'll have to check the updated practice squad signing rules to verify) and I'd imagine since the other receiver who came in for the cut PR and KR muffed both a punt and a kick last week that once Dortch has another week of practice this week he'll be the starter in one or both positions.

Are you talking about Zylstra? He was on the Week 1 roster. DeAndrew White was elevated from the practice squad returned one kickoff.

Yeah that was confusing. I meant Zylstra came in to replace Rae Rae on punts and that both the PR and KR dropped a kickoff.

Rivera talked favorably about Dortch today and sounds like he'll be at least handling punts this week.
 
Titans only team we've never beaten at home.

Granted only played them twice

I think Zylstra muffed the punt and Bonnafin dropped the kickoff. I don't see why they wouldn't have Dortch do both at this point.
 
How has Tepper not fired our team physician? Dude seems incapable of properly managing Cam, and has seemingly messed up with other players' injuries in recent years as well.

Agreed. Seems like the big problem continues to be the expectation that Cam rehabs when he needs surgery.
 
I'm not up in arms about this foot specialist thing or mad at the team physicians. You have an injury, you go through the normal rehab. If it still hasn't gotten better you take the next step. I doubt we would have done much differently if he had seen a the specialist a month ago.
