2023 WF Baseball - Schedule Released

we have so many well hit outs today. just one of those days.
 
How close is this inning from being HR/HR/HR/Double/Single
 
Well it's hindsight but it looks like if we'd put in Keener instead of Oxford and Crum we probably would've won this game.

How many balls did we hit which were caught at the wall in the last 3 innings? at least 4.
 
Oxford should not see the mound on the weekend. I’m tired of our announcers talking about our pitching depth when we have none. If we don’t throw Minacci every game, we have a high likelihood of blowing leads.
 
Like the fight in the team to try and come back from being down big late.

Hate that we lost the home series to clem's son. :mad:
 
I'll take Clemson's bullpen any day over ours....

Oxford and Crum gave up 5 runs in about 20 pitches...
 
The difference in the series was Clemson's defense and we played very well defensively all weekend.
 
We are a middle tier team. We lack the pitching depth to be top tier. The middle tier is the ceiling for Walter.
 
unfortunately we let Clemson find their way after scuffling through the first part of their ACC schedule.

It's one series...but frustrating that Gilbert comes in yielding a BAA of .297, OPS of .883, WHIP of 1.33, ERA of 9.0 vs. the ACC+UGA, and then goes 2-0 against WF with 5 hitless innings

WF has one home ACC series left, vs. UL. Currently 6-6 at home vs. the ACC. Will need to get some wins on the road.
 
Its a tough conference. teams like UNC and UVa have looked like world beaters at times and have both hit the skids.
 
Dropped go 15 in RPI. We are a fringe 1 seed at the moment.
