Hartle just does not have the stuff to go longer than 4 innings or once through the lineup.

Well that was his third time through the lineup and they absolutely should have pulled him after four innings with a rested bullpen in a must-win game.
 
The whole dynamic of the inning might be different if you bring in mascolo to start off the ending and let him pitch out of the stretch

Hopefully see ya Walter as well. What a dreadful and typical finish to the season especially after being in the top 10 of the rpi for substantial time.
 
Yes we've seen 13 years to come to the conclusion that Tom Walter has very poor feel for managing a college baseball game
 
The offense seems stagnant, resembling last year when we relied on the long ball. Not stringing hits or even decent ABs together. Wilken and Turconi ice cold.
