2024 Presidential Primaries and Election

Lolz. Trump will support a Republican who defeats him for the nomination? That's wishful thinking of the highest order. Based on his performance over the past seven years, he's far more likely to claim the nomination was stolen from him and tear the party apart to wreck the candidacy of the person who beat him.

Even if Trump signed such a pledge he would still be a catty little bitch and wouldn’t put the primary winner over. We’ve already seen how short Trumps figurative coattails are.

Yeah if Trump loses the primary, he will think the only reason that happened is because of the politically corrupt investigations and charges against him. So any R who beats him will not be legitimate in his eyes. And he ain't gonna support someone who "beat" him for the good of the voters, the Republican party, or the country.

At least half the reason every R is lining up to support him is because they know if they dumped on him and then prevailed, he'd sink their chances with his base. So better to just stay on a sinking ship and hope the anvil falls off and the ship resurfaces.

If this supposed RFK, Jr. run gets any traction, it will just make the Republicans seem sad and desperate. It could also draw attention to how Republicans run fake candidates to draw votes away from legit Democrats.

I don't see him doing well at all. The Kennedy era in US politics has long passed, and he has some goofy views that likely won't endear him to most Democrats (he's an anti-vaxxer, among other things.)

He definitely won't do well in a primary. By traction, I mean any media coverage beyond what a fringe candidate would get.

I assume same line he gave for IRS tax records before his first run, he wants to disclose it but it's currently under legal dispute.

Shocking that a Republican announces and bases their platform on...lies and projection.

How's that going to play with the southern Republican base that still sees that as the War of Northern Aggression?
