2024 Presidential Primaries and Election

Reading the opinion now, but it's interesting that the district court found that there was an insurrection, and that Trump engaged in it, but ultimately held he should stay on the ballot because Section 3 of the 14th does not apply to a President because, as the terms are used in Section Three, the Presidency is not an office...under the United States nor is the President "an officer of the United States who had previously taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States".

What kind of happy horseshit is that?

Prepare for a flood of bullshit lawsuits to remove Biden from the ballot in battleground states. It doesn't even have to be legitimate...All its going to take is a friendly state Supreme court, and the USSC slow walking any appeals.

Wpuld limiting the presidency to a single term be a good idea? Make the term 6 years, shove em out the door and give them a library. Wash, rinse, repeat.

No way.

The situation in the 2 major shipping canals in the world is setting us up for an inflationary spike again next year. Carriers are already price gouging due to the security concerns in the Suez and the Panama Canal is operating at less than half capacity due to rainfall shortages this last year, with no relief in sight until summertime.

Not Biden's fault at all (can't he make it rain more???), but the timing is going to suck and if we do see an uptick in prices here in the US you can count on a shit ton of dishonesty surrounding it.

Yep

What do you mean it's not Biden's fault? These Yemenese rebels don't fear him because he's weak

Is costs us way more to shoot down a drone than it costs Iran to produce them. Our navy, as well as merchants, might run out of defensive measures before the bad guys run out of drones.
