I'd be curious, whether or not Mike Houston would be interested in moving up to the FBS level as a DC. Yes, he has been successful as a Head Coach, but he wouldn't be the first FCS Head Coach to work on Clawson's staff as an assistant.

I can't tell if these people wanting Gattis are serious or not. The dude is a co-OC (note, not a defensive coach) at freaking Alabama.

- Bama

At each stop, he was an offensive assistant. First an receivers coach, and now an OC. Although he was a lights-out defensive player, he is never coached that side of the ball.
