I played for a pretty lousy basketball program in high school and can definitely sympathize with him. I think anyone who has played team sports when they were younger would tell you that, aside from the big wins and the personal highlights, the thing they miss most is that fraternal feeling. Team meals on road trips were some of the most fun we had during those bad seasons.

Hearing rumors of large lines outside the Verizon Center trying to get in to see Georgia Tech/Clemson and Virginia Tech/FSU. You would have thought ACC leadership would have been prepared for this.

I don't know, my favorite memory of college basketball the last 6 years is a coach getting fired, only to get replaced by a coach that may be equally inept. That's pretty sad too.

How many times in history have we seen what just happened to Pitt happen to us against UNC or Duke? Play well all game, have a 2 minute laps that puts you down 9 and the more you try to shoot yourself out of it, the more they run and the worse it gets. It's tough not having 3 burger boys to come in off the bench late in halves.
