ACC Tournament Thread NWT

Over. Duke will walk with a 3 or 4 seed in the tourney because fuck reason and logic, it's Duke!
 
Those last few drives by Grayson looked like he was getting sniped by a .50 cal and/or a hand grenade. Such a bitch

It is already scripted that the NCAA Tournament committee will screw Duke this year when they have no chance so that they can argue that they're fair when they give them golden paved highways to the final 4 when they're good. Last year was such a joke.

Probably a sound theory. Idk what's worse, that shit actually taking place or that most college basketball fans have accepted that UNC, Duke, Kansas, and Kentucky will always be taken care of by the selection committees.

Manning cut his teeth working under a (potential) hall of fame coach at a blue blood program at Kansas.

Could not agree with this more. The path they got last year was ridiculous (although, par for the course). You would've thought they were the overall #1 seed.

Oddly, this is probably the biggest GT basketball game since ... Favors and Shumpert? It's been ages. A win tonight over UVa and GT is going to be squarely on the bubble (2x wins over UVa, very high SoS, 0 bad losses) ... a loss and it's hoping the NIT phones up and says they have room.

Meh, their top 4 players are seniors. They'll be terrible again next year. He should be gone.
 
Unless he grabs some solid transfers like Mitchell, Jacobs, and Smith again, I don't see how they're anything but terrible for at least the next 3 years. Yeah, I'd just fire him.

It'll be interesting to see what UVA looks like next year without Brogdon and Gill.

Terrible is an understatement. We've basically recruited nobody the last couple of years, and have pretty much nothing returning for next year. We are going to suck at BC levels of suck next season.
 
ACC officials just called a flagrant one on GT for a total flop where the GT player didn't even touch the Va player.
