The problem with Wolf of Wall Street was that there wasn't enough Rob Reiner. Every time he left a scene, I wanted to go with him and see life through his eyes.
12 Years A Slave was a really good think piece for the layman, but I was already really, really against slavery even before I saw it, so they were preaching to the choir. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad it was made, but for a mega anti-slavery guy like myself, it was a little like Neil Armstrong watching Apollo 13.
Haven't seen American Hustle because I can't look at Bale as anything besides Batman. I know the guy has to work, but I don't want to see Bruce Wayne dressed up as Al Borland for 2 hours. It's disrespectful, and quite frankly, a slap in the face to Heath. RIP.
