What kind of towing ability does the RAV4 have? I'd love to be able to tow a small trailer 30 miles one way if needed.
I plan to put the OEM hitch on at some point, I think the prime RAV4 has a 2500 lb towing limit so would probably be good with that. The car has a lot of pep and is fun to drive (when you have battery power/are in hybrid mode at least). What kind of towing ability does the RAV4 have? sure I’ll believe it when they ship itSo solid state batteries coming out in a few years per Toyota. 1,000 mile range on a 15 minute charge

I'm gonna mostly use mine for bike rack but plan on towing a jet ski occasionally.
Unfortunately, no.Is your jet ski battery powered ?
Tons of Rivians where I live too (and VW ID4s, strangely). I like the Rivian SUV, but can't get past the headlights. So two years later I have a 150 lightning on order will be here in Oct. got extended range so we’ll see. So many Rivians suddenly around where I live. I like them but still just wish they were bigger - the truck is Ranger sized and a little uh dainty for my tastes.
And I stand by my review of Musk in the OP
Yeah, I think part of their PR strategy is to keep promising amazing things that are 3-5 years away so that people will keep buying their other cars and wait in an EVAlso, hasn't Toyota been one of the companies that is most averse toward EVs?
I think this is the reason they only have one fully electric vehicle right now, and I think their plan has been to fully flesh out the solid state battery mass production and be the first out of the gate with it -- could work out well for them.and yet they're fucking killing the PHEV segment, I wish they'd come out with a prime tacoma and/or 4runner (or new landcruiser which is basically a 4runner)
Those Rivian vertical oval headlights also strike me as very weird.Tons of Rivians where I live too (and VW ID4s, strangely). I like the Rivian SUV, but can't get past the headlights.
Full EV's need greater range batteries and faster charging. 1 hour charge time for 100 miles of range just doesn't work for long trips. Particularly when compared to 10 minutes for 500 miles for an ICE vehicle.I think this is the reason they only have one fully electric vehicle right now, and I think their plan has been to fully flesh out the solid state battery mass production and be the first out of the gate with it -- could work out well for them.

Not what they're limited to, but a common parameter for charging. What's the best EV charging time you know of?Say what? Surely you’re not thinking this is what EVs are limited to
