Basketball Coaching Staff Rumor (Nix Hired as DoBO)

Rusty might be getting neervous. He doesn't have the charisma of Chill nor does it seem that he has the fire in his belly.
 
We really need Randolph somewhere in the Wake Forest basketball program. Nobody can sell Wake Forest like Randolph---one of the greatest Deacons ever.

Randolph, Timmy, Arnie Gets no better than that.
 
1) JET is the new "socks" joke. Already overused.

2) How has no one listened to deacsfan27? He scuttled this rumor on page 1.
 
Not sure why. I was arguing why he wouldn't take the job knowing he already hadn't. No clue what Jaybone was doing.
 
FWIW, Muggsy would have been a much more viable rumor than Chill anyway.

27 is doofus. Regardless, the rumor was old when originally posted anyway.

The real question is if there is any real news on the DOBO.

Coming from you, that's a compliment. The idea that Childress would use Wake as a stepping stone rather than find another way to be at Wake long-term was comical.
 
no...no, he isn't. but he was a pretty damn good player (big 10 leading scorer). and from reading that article, crean is doing something smart by tapping into their program's rich history.
