If I recall correctly, when they signed John Collins for the 2015 class.
No, we had at most 10 returning scholarship players by the time Collins signed as the third recruit in his class.
By my count we had 11 potential returning players at the beginning of the 14-15 season: https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/wake-forest/2015.html
Tyrese Samuel to announce this weekend.
Can we hope that Neath and Samuels are a canadian combo commitment?
I am glad UConn isn't on his list anymore. My annoying co-worker went to Georgetown, yet proclaims himself to be a huge UConn fan. So I'd like for UConn to continue to suck.
Soooo, this is a thing that could actually happen?? Seems like a list of teams we can win out against. Well, in recruiting.
If we lose out to Pitt, you'll know that we haven't yet reached rock bottom.
With Capel that’s a different story
I would say he is a lock to Pitt.

You’re right. We could and should easily beat this group out. We offered Samuels early and were listed as a contender for awhile. I don’t know what happened, but his recruitment cooled and we’ll lose him to programs who we should be beating for recruits.
Sunshine brigadiers will claim this is not a loss and that we would rather have Oguama and Bilau anyway.
What a mess. The return on investment for basketball recruiting expenses has been pathetic under Manning.
So on this end, we get the story that Manning should have had Samuels but lost him. On the other end, Racer has contended that Samuel's recruiting cooled because he wasn't really a top player and that was the only reason he was still interested in Wake instead of other programs.
