I was thinking of something related to this - Do you think that Wake Forest has the worst return on investment for any school?

Our new peers almost certainly do not spend the amount of money that WF does but the results are still the same or better.
 
Considering Leggett had a Wake Forest scholarship offer for less than a week before we made his final 6, I'd say there is a strong chance he wants to come to Wake.
 
The scouting report on Leggett: Undersized SG at 6'2. Has quick first step, will blow by defenders. Below-the-rim player, but able to finish through contact against bigger defenders. Good defender who has guarded PGs, SGs, and even SFs, can switch on the perimeter defensively. Good shooter, similar to Keyshawn Woods in that he is capable at all 3 levels, and is an undersized 2. Not as big of a scorer as Woods, but a much better defender. Has a good motor. Would be a top-150 player if he was 2 inches taller and had an elite vertical.
 
If they "call you Ishmael" then Wake is the school for you.

ETA - This, like most everyone else we seem to be recruiting these days, is the type of guy you take to round out your class.

Bring in Krispy Kreme to replace all the empty vendors at the Joel. When you get donuts for recruiting and ACC games, the fans get a free donut! It could take the place of the old Chik Fil A promotion, and you don't even need loud fans, an empty coliseum is enough. Krispy Kreme would lose their shirts though if you got a donut for every point scored by an ACC team while Wake Forest is still at 0. Louisville would've been a free half dozen, but Chapel Hill would've been 18 donuts. Sean May would've been in heaven.

No, it's sounding like a donut because none of our current commits even have a star rating...we have a star rating of 0 right now. This class is a disaster. At this rate, Leggett may be our "best" player in the class and he's ranked 240ish and dropping. This will be the worst class in Wake Forest history, likely by a large margin.

I suppose there's a scenario where 2020 ends up ranked ahead of Manning's first class (114) of Wilbekin (265) and Rondale (393) simply because it will have more players in it. But with our two current commits completely absent from the 247 rating system and our "ringer" Leggett, who will be ranked about like Wilbekin, still not committed, I'm not going to make any bets.
