Bullshit Trump Says

So you think that studies that show leftist media bias are untrue?

if an organization purports to solely exist to stop leftwing news bias, it's not shocking that one of their "studies" would uncover what they believe to be bias. otherwise they would have to close-up shop on principle.

You think studies by righty biased sources are true?

not particularly interested in going around and around in circles

if you want to stick exclusively to your lefty media "sources" you can do so and as a result sink deeper and deeper into your bubble and become more and more disinformed, the choice is yours

a lot of studies confirm leftist media bias

http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=207

one thing has certainly remained unchanged: the lefty journalists denial of their biases in reporting the news

this has led to a rather predictable result, people increasingly do not believe them or have simply stopped believing their spin altogether

yeah its lefty journalists on the scoop who decide the tone of what goes on page one and is top of the hour on TV, not the board of directors/owners of the media corporations. gosh you are an independent thinker who can see through bullshit.

well, you kept it clean for a change

yeah, the editors and managers, and boards, and owners who hired all those lefty reporters and writers were all just very tolerant and curious conservatives, who wanted to see the world presented only as lefty fantasy and were willing to pay lots of money for it, good thinking

or your whole premise that there is a lefty news conspiracy is wrong.

keep working at it, you'll get it

And you don't think conservative media isn't just conservatives who want to see the world presented as a conservative fantasy and are willing to pay lots of money for it?

Exactly. When the stated mission of an organization is to find evidence of a specific thing, any "study" by that organization finding evidence of that specific thing should be treated with skepticism. Imagine if the new 501c(3) called "AAAAAHHHH, CLIMATE CHANGE IS GOING TO KILL US ALL!!!" Produces a report entitled "Elevated anthropogenic atmospheric carbon will increase global temperatures and bring an end to civilization as we know it" wherein the researchers conclude that climate change is in deed going to kill us all... would sailor trusting?

Everyone has biases, the issue isn't whether bias exists, but whether the end result of a journalist's work is also consistently biased.

The main headline right now on CNN is a Chris Cillizza opinion piece based on a tweet called "Donald Trump lied 7 times in one tweet" And it's been 2 straight years of it. Deranged seems an appropriate description.

What's the bias in the "Donald Trump lied 7 times in one tweet?"

Selection bias? As in why talk about it at all? Or what? What do you believe to be unfair about that headline?

I see a big story on the CA wildfires.

That doesn't mean the headline or article is biased, that means you don't think that Chris Cillizza's thoughts are that important.

This president is a media-savvy showbiz guy. He agitates to get on the front page, to create chaos and discord out of thin air to then swoop in and (appear to) save the day.

Then cries foul that he is getting negative press to fuel the narrative that the press is out to get him and his faithful followers.

The Rubes abide.
