Public schools are "indoctrinating" children to learn math, science, and critical thinking. Some actually teach real history instead of revisionist American exceptionalism BS. Schools teach children to share and get along with each other and respect people from different backgrounds. So I can understand why conservatives think there's some liberal conspiracy. Conservatives don't want children to learn those things.

What's sad is that so many people have become so numbed and used to his actions, tweets, and statements that they now just ignore stuff that would garner outrage and and concern for the country if it came from almost anyone else. We've had plenty of threads just recently of people expressing anger, contempt, or ridicule towards the actions or statements of other pols, yet people now pay almost no attention to the stuff Trump tweets and says and does on a daily basis. He really has become an odd kind of teflon POTUS, especially with his base. He can get away with saying or doing things that cause scandals and controversies for other pols, and yet most people now just shrug whenever he says or does something.
