Bullshit Trump Says

Honestly, I'm excited. It's going to put a much larger spotlight on Black Wall Street and Juneteenth. There's no real way to explain this is not trolling Black folks. OK isn't a swing state. It won't be a competitive Senate race.

It's a Friday night. There will be protests in Tulsa and probably around the country maybe the world. Even HBO Max could take advantage of it and make the first episode of Watchmen that depicts the Black Wall Street massacre available for free.

Trump and his people are guaranteeing that racial injustice will stay in the news.

Agreed. There is no way this was a Trump original idea. But he would definitely go along with it, since it guarantees two things he loves 1) lots of cable news coverage and 2) stoking racial divisions

Exactly. He'll wake up to this news today and since it's been announced he won't stoop it. He can't apologize. He'll just barrel forward.

But, what if he awkwardly and transparently tries to acknowledge it? He's dumb but there are people around him that would use this for his new black lives matter plaza photo op. That would be worse than him looking tone def about the day.
 
Some dingus probably thinks this is the moment for the pivot and they’ll stake it all on trump’s ability to stick to the script written by smart people rather than popping off his own ideas like the moronic jackass he is.
 
he's gonna be juiced like never before. he hasn't heard real applause for him in months. all he does is talk to the press and occasionally a handful of sycophants gathered together in some room in the White House.

This seems like a normal team Trump move, meant to wink at white supremacists, antagonize activists, and leave those (white people) who have never heard of Juneteenth thinking "what's the big deal?" Meant to play into one of Trumpkins' fave themes, that the media overreacts to Trump in a way that's unfair.

Which has been very effective for him in the past! But seems like a bit of a gamble in the current environment.
 
You can say one thing about the ref and col anus. If either walked in to the White House they would no longer be the dumbest person in the room.
