More likely JJ moves into the starting lineup for Toronto soon. He's always been good on defense, but he slimmed down this offseason and is better than ever. Just needs to play smarter on offense.

He's been getting a lot of playing time already, and not doing much with it. He's a defensive stopper, but he's way more timid on offense now than he was with the Bulls.

Not sure JJ is a stopper by any stretch of the imagination. The Raptors like that he can facilitate from the high post. Seeing as they have two ball-stopping bigs, he's a nice player to be able to plug in to that offense. I, too, would like to see him make better decisions/be more aggressive on offense. That being said, that was the scouting report on him at Wake and in HS, too, so I'm not sure how much will change.
