Saying Partner my first thought is to same sex couples, was that term first widely used for those relationships? Maybe its just me.

I've moved far, far away, sadly. My love affair with east Austin has ended.
My s.o. is still there though, so I'll be back.
Strangely, this is why I stopped using it. Read somewhere a convincing argument from a gay woman that it was something *theirs* that was being appropriated. This is why I like it. If everyone uses “partner” then same sex couples don’t stand out. I am trying consistently use “my spouse” instead of “wife”.
I’m not a big Bachelor person, but my wife watches it when our son goes to bed and this Tayshia chick is the hottest/coolest bachelorette I’ve ever seen. Big fan.
What’s so special about the Great British Baking Show? I watch the Food Network holiday baking competitions whenever someone else in my family watches them. But I don’t know what makes that specific show so great.
Dude, please watch the Great British Baking Show so I’ll have someone to talk with about it.
the first few seasons are pleasant, slow placed and filled with actual people actually baking and the judges are kind.
it's great and 100% the opposite of dumb american cooking competition shows
the latter seasons are less good
I’ve watched enough to be dangerous, my wife has watched every season. However I don’t really remember the contestants, expect for 2-3 hawt ones.
